What is the best way to dye a leopard print pattern into short hair?

I don't want to hear opinions, just how to do this..


Here's the deal, I want to dye a leopard print pattern into very short hair, with a light blonde background and black leopard-style spots on it..


How do I go about this without the colours mixing when I wash out the dye?


I heard it's best to first dye the area blonde, then apply the pattern with a Q-tip.

Okay, if your head is already shaved, I'd suggest using an applicator that's not a QTip. You're probably not going to be able to get much product on your hair that way. A child size toothbrush may be a better option. I would also recommend covering all the hair you don't want colored with petroleum jelly. Don't reley on this to block color, but you'll have a little protection.What is the best way to dye a leopard print pattern into short hair?
