How long will it take for me to grow out my short hair to medium hair?

My hair grows one inch per month. I want it to look like something like this.

How long will it take? I want to look nice for my graduation this coming June!How long will it take for me to grow out my short hair to medium hair?
i would say about hallf a year.

see my hair is a little past my boobs and it was shoulder legnth and it took about a little less than a year so hopefully this helpss :)
