How to make my short hair appear longer?
Recently I used clippers to cut my hair (first time doing it myself) as my hair was rather long. I seem to have cut it much shorter than I originally intended, plus its a bit uneven. Considering this is more of a general vanity issue, I would like to know how to make it appear 'fuller' or a bit longer, just temporarily until it grows to a better length. Any kind of water-based gel/wax?

Trimming your will not make it grow faster it is a bunch of illogical bull. There isn't much you can do. Hair growth is contrlled by genetics and on average will grow 6 inches a year. You can maximize it by doing a couple simple things:
A. Use a mild shampoo that doesn't wash away all of your hairs natural oil. The oil in your hair actully keeps it healthy.
B. DO NOT dye your hair or blow dry or curl or do anything that invloves heat.
C. Be gentle with your hair. Never comb or brush it when it is wet and comb or brush no more than necessary. Just enough to get your hair the way you want it and enough to get the tangles out.
D. Towel dry your hair lightly but the rest of the time you should air dry your hair.
E. Eat Healthy and watch out for the gimmicks. Most products that advertise hair growth are gimmick.
F. No amount of eggs, mayoneise, milk, vinigar or any other homeade remeidy will help your hair.
G. The most important thing...Do not trim your hair. Hair will only take longer to reach the longer length each time some is left on the Barber shop floor. Trim your hair only when you get split ends and only trim enough to get ride of the split end. Trim them one by one if necessary. The plsit will not go all the way up the shaft. One side of the split always breaks off Trust me I have dealt with them before
H. And be very patient. Your hair might grow a little faster than average but there is no silver bullet for hair growth, Length is even controlled by genetics. I do not know if vitamens will actully help besides if you eat healthy it shouldn't need to take any.

Ok this is what I use....I make a mixture of this in a pointed nozzle bottle from Sally's, so I can get at my scalp. I mix 4 drops of cedarwood EO, 4 drops of rosemary EO, 4 drops of thyme EO, 4 drops of lavendar EO, 1/4 cup of grapeseed oil, 2 tbsps of jojoba oil, and then add.....a quarter tube of monistat. Yes, that monistat. The active ingredient miconazale nitrate makes hair grow. I'm currently getting 1/4 inch a week, which is about an inch a month without the vitamins. I also take various vitamins like biotin, hair supps, etc., but this is by far what has sped up my hair growth the most.
use minoxidile sollution on your head skin every day, and use ferrus sulfate(iron) tab because of your period blood lose and zinc sulfate capsule . wash your hair with 3 spoons of youghart , i tried these and i`m satisfied.

I'm 15, and I live in a tropical island where it isn't strange to feel the heat of 100 degrees fahrenheit on a daily basis. I'm sick and tired of my VERY long hair, and I want a DRASTIC change. I would recommend an inverted bob or a straight shoulder length bob. I recently cut my hair too after having long hair for a very long time and that's what I got. I love it and it still looks sort of long because the front is about chin length. I think as long as the front is still long-ish then the change won't feel so drastic. It's also more feminine in my opinion. You can use pretty clips to keep it out of your face when you want to but let it fall loose for a more stylish look.

Also, if you want way way short hair, which I wore for years upon years, google Winona Ryder. She has had some majorly short cuts that were fabulous, and long ones, of course, but there are pictures of her hair at every stage between the two extremes, and she always looked fabulous, no matter how short or long her hair was. Natalie Portman, of course, shaved her head for the V for Vendetta movie, and she's had a lot of different growing out styles that were really short and looked great.

My mom wants extensions for me for my sweet sixteen and I have shoulder length hair.
My stylist told my mom that before the actual date of my party I need to have the extensions in to get used to them, and I plan on keeping them in after.

Everyone thinks it suits me and i feel really comfy with my new do. It gives more of a young, fresh look to your style. The best haircut i've ever done. Not only do i love my new haircut, but the pride you feel of having had the courage to get it short in the first place is a total bonus! :)

When I was sitting there chunks of hair just kept falling I thought there would be no end and it took forever because I have supper thick hair. When I turned around I just screamed, I started crying and I wanted my hair back, this was when I was like 5 so it was a big thing for me. When I came home my mom was like what happened to your hair? And then I just started crying again. I cryed for 4 days straight. Then I looked at my hair and decided that I liked it and it grew out and I always keep it at my shoulders now.
I cut my hair from about one third down my back to a few inches above my shoulders. I liked it. My parents weren't so happy, but my friends liked it too.

dry your hair with thee towel a little bit before s you dont get your pillows wet.

I have found in previous dating experiences that I get shot down more often by a woman with long beautiful hair than a woman with short hair. Their body style or background doesn't seem to matter. Why do woman with long hair tend to be more choosy or stuck up over woman with short hair?
I don't think that statement is true. I have long hair and I am not like the women you described with long hair. Maybe you seem to treat them differently therefore you get a different reaction to them. I mean, maybe to the long haired girls you try really hard to pick them up because it seems by the way you worded your question you prefer girls with long hair. And maybe the girls with short hair you don't try so hard because you are not really that interested and therefore you seem nicer and they react to you nicer. Well that is mine opinion, anyway. Also, it is okay to be choosy but not stuck up. You don't have to say yes to a guy that asks you out but you don't have to turn him down in a rude way either. I am nice to all guys who talk to me and I speak to them in the same way as they speak to me - if they are nice I am nice back but if they are rude then i am rude back or walk away. Also, i have very long hair at the moment. There are times that i cut it to my shoulders and then grow it again. i am thinking about cutting it in a few months. Depends how short. If it's ear length, try putting a stylish headband on. Shoulder length? Take a side part. A few barrettes will be nice.

Would a dutch or french braid look good with short hair?
I'm trying to change up my hairstyles because bun/ponytail gets pretty old after a while. My hair is on the short side, just brushes my shoulders, and it is 'black' hair. I don't want to do full-on cornrows, but I don't want to always put my hair in a bun. Advice?Would a dutch or french braid look good with short hair?

If you want to be in the sun then yes wear a spf 30+ or higher sunscreen and wear protective clothing.
Lemon juice apperantely works to get lighter skin,,
but being happy in your own skin is way more attractive than trying to get a different skin color ;)
That message goes towards people who want to be tanned too.
I'd probably suggest if you want lighter skin to use bleaching products they sell at discount stores and they sell them online too but they're is a risk you could get bleach streaks. Safest I think would be bleaching soaps. I don't know about so much because I don't use bleaching products but I know they're out there.

Lemon juice apperantely works to get lighter skin,,
but being happy in your own skin is way more attractive than trying to get a different skin color ;)

I'd probably suggest if you want lighter skin to use bleaching products they sell at discount stores and they sell them online too but they're is a risk you could get bleach streaks. Safest I think would be bleaching soaps. I don't know about so much because I don't use bleaching products but I know they're out there.

See how you like it, if you want it shorter, they can still go shorter. You can continue to work your way up until you get to the style and length that you like. Make sure that your honest with your stylist. That your a little unsure of how short, but you know you want it cut. If she's good, she will totally understand. It often helps if you have a picture of what you would like to head to. Your stylist will be able to show you how to style it and how to take care of it. He/She would also be able to tell you if the style you picked would look right with your face shape, and features. however, it could work, as long as the extensions aren't loads longer than your real hair.. although i wouldnt risk it.. good quality extensions can be pricey.. and the cheap ones just look horrible..

so, just buy a hair straightener and some straightening gel. if you have money to throw away, look into japanese hair straightening.
Spike it out with Knocks Gelatin.
Just take a bowl, dump in a packet of unflavored gelatin.
Add a small amount of hot water
Mix with a utensil that you don't mind throwing away
Have a friend pull your hair into spikes
Then while you friend is holding the spike of hair up with one hand
Have them blow dry it till it hardens up.
Repeat until you have Emo Porcupine Head
This will turn your hair into the strength of cartilage.
And then you will have emo hair
If you let this grow and throw away your comb, the will turn to dreads
Dreads are kind of hippie unless you dye them black or red.
Then dreads can be emo too
When they are still mini dreads blond is kinda goth too.
Go to a hair dresser and ask them!

Right now I have straight shoulder length hair. I usually wear it up because i looks better up then down. So i was thinking of cuttting it short. Not as short as a pixie cut..i don't think lol. I don't really now what kind of style i would cut it tho. I need help!

Even though this isn't much help you will never find a youtube tutorial i have been looking for some fore short hair for ages ever since i cut all mine off and had a bob, which i do regret slightly! but happy it's growing back now! They mostly just have them for long hair, i guess it's because you can't really do much with short hair.. unfortunately
You could always try straightening your hair see what that looks like if you haven't already or clip parts back with bobby pins/grips, or use a small curling tong to tame your curls and make them look more defined or have loose curls, just

How many times a week should you bathe a shih-tzu with short hair?
The kennel where I work, we bathe the dogs weekly and use a conditioning spray with daily brushing. We also add Flax Oil to their food in the morning (1/4 tsp for 10lb dog) to prevent dry skin. Of course they are all high maintenance groom and show dogs.

I had an asymetric cut that was longer in the front and short and layered at the back (I flipped it and made it stick out almost straight with wax) and short side bangs (and I got lots of pink highlights to comfort myself from cutting my hair). Everyone loved it and thought it was really pretty. but I am growing my hair back cause I prefer long hair on myself. It was short enough in the back that I couldn't tie it up ^-^ but it was really wild and cute.

I think it all really depends on the shape of your face. I prefer shoulder-length hair on round-faced women, and long hair on ovular-faced women. For square and rectangle-faced women, it's basically the middle of the other two. But that's just one man's opinion.
