I have stick straight hair that is cut just below my chin. I have sideswept bangs that reach just at my eyebrows. I wear my hair down, in a messy bun, in a ponytail... but i can't think of other ways that don't include a headband! Ideas? Pictures?What are cute ways to wear short hair?

I just got my hair cut and it is shoulder length and layered. What are some things I can do to it that doesn't involve curling because my hair doesn't curl? I don't have a straightener either. I take some basic gel that lets your hair move but holds...
I braid really tiny pieces randomly. Like 5. And use onlly the gel to hold them. So it almost looks natural. And with layers it looks great. Hope this helps =]

I bought some clip-in hair extensions in different, bright colors that are about 15 inches long, which is the length of my hair. I really don't think that will help much, though.

The cap is the better option. Can he not just grin and bear it for a hour or so while its done if he likes his hair highlighted?
Another option would be for them to put the colour straight on using a dying brush they just paint it on - its more random and obviously the highlights would be a lot thicker than the cap but its an option.

My hair got all damaged after being pregnant too and I decided to cut it shorter and wasn't thrilled with it, but now that it's growing back it looks healthier then it was. You should try these vitamins for hair, skin and nails, they are at walmart or any drugstore and only cost about $6. They really got my hair back to being full and pretty. So maybe you should take the vitamins for a few weeks and then cut off any split ends and get a nice style if you aren't sure about cutting it short. I wish that's what I would have done.

Try using a curl activating spray, such as Tresemme Curl activator spray. You can find it at your local drug store. Section your hair in small sections, lightly spray the section, then curl it. It should work.

Try using a curl activating spray, such as Tresemme Curl activator spray. You can find it at your local drug store. Section your hair in small sections, lightly spray the section, then curl it. It should work.

The Remy/Remi hair can last for over a year if you take care of it! Mine are well over 6 monthes no tangles and have been dyed twice! They are worth every reasonable penny...well no more than $115 a pack, IMO!

I just cut my hair last summer in Las Vegas into a short do. It was up to my jawline and layered and had a feel cute and punky look, the change I needed for starting college. Now, a year later, its grown all back and my hair stylists is a couple thousand miles away. I need a hair cut but I dont want to break the bank ( I live in New York City now) nor do I want a do that makes me want to hide from the public. A couple of weeks ago... I got my hair cut short, its is a bit longer than my chin, and the back is choped up and short so you can spike it. I have only a few styles I can do... like put a lot of gel in it and make it look crazy, flip it out, put boby pins in my hair to hold it back, and flip it in ward. okay, well I used too have a incredibly, short bob, I didint really like the way it looked natural so I turned to curling irons.
You should just curl the ends with a 1 1/2'' barrel curling iron.
How you do it:
you take bottom parts of your hair and loosely wrap it around the curling iron, hold for a few seconds and then let it loose.
AND
you could try blow-drying your hair with a round barreled brush.
It will give you amazing, looser curls that wont look granny styled at all.

If she leans more toward k.d. lang, that's a no-brainer. If she looks closer to, say, Charlize Theron, I'm less inclined to think she's gay. Not an absolute, to be sure, but I think you'd get my point.
Furthermore, it also depends on how you carry yourself around others. Do you tend (in spite of your haircut) to be ';girly'; or act as if you're ';just one of the guys';?

Heck, if the only way you can tell the men from the women is by the length of their hair--you got BIG gender differentiation problems. And if you are relying on the length of someone's hair to indicate if someone is gay/lesbian, you gonna have BIG problems. Many women/girls wear their hair short because it is so easy to care for since drying time is relatively minimal. It also can look sooooooo chic--all those extremely elegant short cuts. And lots of women look real real real good with short hair because people focus on your face rather than your hair.

When I see a girl with short hair, I just see a girl with short hair, I don't judge by hair length.

I was in the hospital at xmas time......and a nurse came in to work on me and her hair was cut one length on one side and a little shorter on the other........I thought it was the neatest thing I've seen. And she had a wrist watch on that was about 21/2'; in diameter with great big crazy hands to tell the time and a bright colored necklace to go with a cute nurses top. She just has the flare for being something different and yet special. It kind of made my lonely evening...............all the best on your hair choice... it's summer so have a little fun. They itch and hurt and if you dread it and decide you don't like it you're going to have to shave your head. You can use special shampoos and conditioners to help the process. It's painful and itchy ... ALWAYS. It's okay to start dreading it with or without long hair. It's not JUST getting the dreads that is required. You also have to go trough a state of utter ugly horror. My friend, Liam, looked HORRIBLE with his dreads for about a year and decided to cut them off. Can a root stimulator help my fine short hair grow?
I use to use olive oil root stimulator and it seem to be working because my hair was growing, it wasn't too greasy, it was light, and it made my hair very soft. I haven't used it for about a year and I'm wondering if I should go back to using it or try another kind of root stimulator, but I need something light and not too greasy. There is nothing that you can do to make your hair grow faster, but there are a number of things that may actually slow the process such as; a poor hair care regimen, poor diet, illness, medication, male and female pattern hair loss, and emotional stress.
Some of these things don't actually affect the growth rate per se, but they affect the hairs' health and unhealthy hair will probably not grow to its fullest potential. Besides regular shampooing and conditioning with good quality products, the only other thing that you can really do is take an inexpensive daily multi vitamin such as Centrum or even Flintstones. Don't waste your money on super vitamins. Zinc and Biotin in particular seem to be good for hair and are both found in the above recommendations. Unless you are pregnant or very ill with cancer or the like, your body only requires so many vitamins per day and simply flushes out the excess. In other words, you can't put twenty gallons in a ten gallon tank.
I frequently hear of people taking pre natal pills to make their hair grow faster, even men. The reason that an expecting mother's hair may grow slower or faster has to do with hormonal activity and not the pills. So please, stop doing that or thinking about it, it just doesn't work.

This being said, every kitten is an individual, and not every cat of a certain breed will behave exactly to the ';standard.'; written about their behavior.
Tempermant is greatly influenced by how kittens are handled when they are very young, how much time the breeder spends with them to help them bond with humans, and their unique genetic makeup.
While both breeds are known for great dispositions, it is really impossible to accurately predict which will be more ';laid back'; and less aggressive.
How you play with and demonstrate affection for your kitten however will make a huge impact on behavior.
