Bengals, like all other cats, have a wide range of purrsonalities. Generally, Bengal cats play rough, and play often. Your domestic may not appreciate Bengal play, but again, this all depends on the personality of BOTH of your cats.



Depending on how you introduce the two cats (and I REALLY hope you're not just going to throw the two together and expect them to get along!), they may be just fine with each other, or it may take time for them to get along, or they may never get along. You MUST introduce them properly. Please do a google search for PROPERLY introducing your Bengal to a new household - such as this link. Be sure to read ALL of it!!

Please also be sure to find a vet that is familliar with exotic cats. For an example, should your Bengal need surgery, an anesthesia that will work great for your domestic, may be lethal to your Bengal.



Where are you getting your Bengal from? Are you sure it's not a spotten domestic tabby? If you're getting your Bengal from a breeder, a responsible breeder would have asked you already if you had pets. You should also be contacting the breeder, not Yahoo Answers, about wether or not your Bengal will get along with other cats.



Many people on Yahoo Answers have no experience with Bengal cats, and won't give you a proper answer. Make sure you take advice from Bengal owners ONLY. You may also be interested to join a Yahoo Bengal Cats Group. There are many breeders and Bengal owners there who are happy to help and advise you with any questions you may have.

that's a hard question to answer b/c within every type of cat there are so many different personalities. You will just have to try them out together and see and be patient b/c it can take a while for them to work out differences. There are a lot of good websites about how to introduce to kitties. Good luck! I'm sure it will work out great!
Cats rarely like sharing a house with another cat. It has nothing to do with species or breed. They just hate sharing their territory.
