How come most female teenagers have long hair but most female adults have short hair?

even if the adult woman is obsessed with looking younger. Just wondering cause i was talking to my mom about this.How come most female teenagers have long hair but most female adults have short hair?
Sometimes when you get older your hair gets thinner. Thinner hair usually looks more thick if its cut short. That's the only reason I can think of.How come most female teenagers have long hair but most female adults have short hair?
alot of older women usually dont feel like doing much with there hair. like maybe your grandmother, i know mine has VERY short hair. and she likes it that way because its comb and go and its simple





where as a young woman will have long hair because they have more energy and can stand for long periods of time working on it





im not saying all older women cant stand and such its just simpler on them
In the practical sense, short hair is much easier to care for, and since most female adults are moms running around caring for others, they don't have much time for themselves. Female teenagers on the other hand have time, and I am safe to say, make the time to take care of themselves.
Great observation. Maybe it is because older working women don't want to take the time or can't to clean and style and dry long hair. Short hair is easier to take care of. Short hair does make you look younger. Most women color their hair and shorter hair again is easier to do.
shorter hair makes your face look younger, you answered it yourself. Whenever I told my mom she should grow her hair out, she said long hair make your face look dragged down.

shorter hair is thicker easier to care for and short hair brightens up the face making it look not so old.
