How to tell if I'd look good with medium-short hair?

I was thinking something that just touches the shoulders. This is short to me because my hair reaches to the middle of my back right now. I'm kind of sick of it always getting in the way (I'm a girl, just FYI). So are there any online sites that can tell you if you would look good in medium-short hair? However it depends on how you wear it! The only thing I'd say is weirdly long faces should avoid long hair around the face, fringes tend to be okay though


And fat round faces should avoid bobs that end by the chin, as it makes them look rounder.
