What are some hairstyle ideas for girls how have short hair?

Okay so I have short hair straight that goes an inch past my shoulders. It has lots of layers in it which makes it difficult to do certain hair styles. I have a unique color hair. Its red-ish brown, i can't really describe it. I also have only a couple of blonde highlights to. So any ideas what can do to it?

Well, if you want a short hair style, you need to cut several inches off. Shoulder-length isn't really that short. :D Good luck finding the perfect style!
