Someone told my wife who has a short pixie haircut that it makes a statement. I pressed him and he said it shows she's not interested in looking feminine. I think that's crazy, agree or disagree?As a woman does having short hair make a statement aboout you?
That guy is ignorant. Many people feel like women are supposed to have long hair to be beautiful and any woman who chooses otherwise is butch. Short hair is a preference. I'm sure her hair is adorable and so is she. I think short hairstyles do make a statement about a persons individuality and self esteem!

Actually what he said says more about him..a woman has to have long hair to be sexy to him. Your thinking he is crazy shows that you love her any way she is comfortable! I think you trump his comment! It takes the right shape of face to make a pixie look sexy, but it sure can be done. Any length hair that is healthy, vibrantly clean and shiny is sexy hair whether you can run your fingers through it or not!
I also think that is crazy, My aunt has had short hair since she was a teenager she is now forty she does it because its easy for her. One of my girlfriends recently cut her hair in a pixie style and I think she looks girlier than ever she did not do her hair before she got it cut short now she looks cute.
