Are women with short hair more or less attractive than women with long hair?

I recently got my hair cut pretty short, and was wondering about the attractiveness of short hair. I know most men love women with long hair, and I also love long, but it's more practical for me this way. Just wondering. Feel free to state your opinions.Are women with short hair more or less attractive than women with long hair?

There are some guys who absolutely love short hair on women, and there are some women who look fantastic with short hair even to guys that prefer long (e.g., Audrey Hepburn, Meg Ryan). But most guys prefer long hair for a variety of reasons. Some guys do prefer a long-term partner to have short hair, particularly if they don't like long hair getting in the way during intimate moments (some do, some don't). Short hair also attracts less attention from other men.





Short hair is more practical and is seen by many women as more mature and sophisticated. A lot of women wait to cut off their long hair until after they are settled down or married and don't have to (or want to) attract guys any more. But some women are ready for the cut sooner. No reason to feel bad; you made an informed decision for good reasons. And your confidence and comfortability level with yourself is as important as your face, hair, and body in your overall attractiveness.
It's not whether it is long or short that makes a woman look attractive . It's the style is the style suited to the shape of their face. Is it an attractive hair do for them. A good hairdresser can help someone with this. Some places also have a special computer program available in their shops so you can put your image on it and than try different hair styles seeing what looks best for you. This is really helpful. One person may look attractive with one hair style while another may look terrible with it. Many short hair styles are very cute you just need to make sure it's the right one for you. Some people also just don't look good in long hair.

Any man who measures a woman by the length of her hair, and refuses to see her attractiveness or date her is narrow minded and you should be thankful that you don't have to be with him. Long hair is beautiful and so is short hair.





I like short hair because a woman stands out and while I see plenty of attractive women with long hair, my attention diverts the most to those with short cuts. I would even compliment one more so than those with long hair and maybe it is partly because I have short hair myself.





I always wore short hair and men still come to me regardless. I really don't care for long hair and despite people saying it is the core of a 'woman's beauty' I can find other things that can make a woman 'hot' and it is beyond her hair. I think you should really accessorize your new do with cute earrings since it will be more noticeable without long hair and it also definitely help to dress really feminine as you do with long hair. Also change up your look, read hair magazines and try out a new look or go on youtube and find a person that has a hot short hairstyle.





Let me put it this way, if a woman is pretty she shouldn't have no problem attracting men whether she have long, short, or a bald head. Be happy with your hair and confident because when men sense that they surely start to come to you.
I think both are sexy, but the style has to fit the woman's face.





Many incredibly attractive women, such as Halle Berry, look incredibly beautiful with short hair.





Other beautiful women, such as Jennifer Aniston, I couldn't even imagine with short hair.





Some, such as Demi Moore, have been absolutely beautiful with short or long hair at different points in their careers.
Beauty lies within the eye of the beholder, so nobody can really answer this question accurately. If you like your hair short, that's all that matters.





Personally, I think that hair is hair. Short hair can look amazing on some women, and it can also look awful. Same for guys. Some can wear long hair well, and others look better with short hair.

No, women with short hair are no less attractive than women with long hair....as long as you know what you are doing with your makeup and how you stye your hair, you are every bit as attractive as the women with long hair....I cut 10 inches off of mine a couple months ago, and I love it, and my husband loves it...and he likes long hair better...but he likes my hair alot...go figure..LOL*
Well, I had ridiculously long hair my entire life, which is very rare for my race. I cut it above my shoulders and I get more compliments on my hair than I ever did. It depends on your the shape of your face and your facial features. But if you're pretty and have a nice body, most guys don't care haha.
overall...yes they like their women to have long hair. my head is growing out from shaved though. my husband has wanted me to grow long beautiful hair our whole marriage. all the guys i have dated in the past have said that they always like women with long hair, but the catch is they say that after they get to know me they don't even pay attention to my hair. your personality makes up more of your attractiveness than your hair ever will!!! but just in looks...sadly i don't know a man that prefers short hair. but baby you do what you like and what you want. you will be respected and your confidence will speak louder than your hair!!! i promise!!!!
it depends on how short and who its on...some girls look good with short hair but in my opinion it shouldnt be shorter than ur chin or else u seem to loose ur feminine touch lol idk...plus short hair on girls makes their breasts look bigger sometimes too so if u have huge breasts i wouldnt do it if i were you
Let me tell you, I absolutely LOVE women with short hair. I don't know what it is but to me women with short hair are beautiful, 2nd to their personality of course.





It should be a less hassle in the shower im assuming.

Girls with short hair, are the same as girls with long hair. Guys just try to install that in females. But guys who only date girls with long hair, are seriously shallow and stupid. They will never find love. I know some sexy girls with short hair.Even some of the best actresses like halle berry have had short hair and she still looks great. So don't get discouraged..
I think it depends on their face. I used to have long hair, but then i cut it. I styled my hair more because of that. I think i look good with medium length hair though. But some people look ugly with long hair and and some look ugly with short hair.
It is purely a matter of taste. However, if you are seeking to be attractive to men, in general, long is better. But, again, taste is individual.
I much prefer short hair, I think it shows a lot of self confidence and style. Long hair is common and ordinary. I'll bet you get noticed a lot more with short hair.
it depends on the woman. i usually like it shorter (not too short), because it stands out a little amongst the long haired ladies but everyone has their preference.
Hey don't worry about it...many many pretty ppl I know all have short hair and they look AMAZING...as long as it suits your face you'll look gorgeous...trust me! And i've met guys who adore short hair too...:)
