Why does short hair make me look like a little kid?

I'm 16, and I just got a haircut. I look more like a little kid now though, but when it was longer I looked older. Why is this?Why does short hair make me look like a little kid?
It is probaly cause your face it rounder so longer hair lenghthens it and shorter hair makes it well shorter. the shorter face makes you look like a little kid. I m 16 too.Why does short hair make me look like a little kid?
if its above your ears, it makes u look alot like a lil kid.
