How can i tell if i will suit short hair?

I am a boy and i have long hair and i dont know if i will suit it short. what is the best way to tell?

i like gerrard way's hair so i say go, but don't bleach it
Take a look at a picture of yourself, and think about the hairstyle you want and try to picture it on your head, or you can get photoshop, or get someone else to quickly photoshop a picture with a new hairstyle so you can get a vague idea on what it'll look like. Plus if you dont like it, hair always grows back!
