My hair has always been straight. Recently, I cut it above the shoulders, and the back of it, covering my neck, began sticking up at the ends the opposite way. I try to make those ends go inward, instead of sticking out, and have even tried straightening them, but it never ends up the right way. Any advice? How do I work with short hair?
My hair does the EXACT same thing..
I would just have somebody else straighten them for me but i recently got the Victoria Beckham bob hairstyle and so now those hairs are straight since they're too short to flip out.
hope you found some luck! How do I work with short hair?
I have the same style as you pretty well.. this works for me:
Buy these products and use with a blow dryer..
A good Straightening Balm - Make sure it's a Balm - I use Avon or LaCoupe..
John Frieda's Frizz-eaze Serum - Normal - Doesn't weigh your hair down, but takes out the frizz.
After washing and conditioning, I use LaCoupe Shampoo and Conditioner also,
Take a quarter-sized amount of Straightening balm and rub through damp hair. (Towel dried)
Then take a pea-sized amount of John Frieda serum, and rub through hair also, especially on ends.
Blow dry your hair with a brush. Pull it down (not too hard) and under.
The results will be amazing.
Note: Give your hair a break from the blow-dryer, though, once or twice a week if you can, at least once a week, to prevent splitting and damage.
When I got my hair cut, that happened to me. I found out that it was because of the angle they cut my hair at. This might be what happened to you. If you think this is what happened, then my advice would be to trim your hair at a straight angle until it stops curling or even out your hair by cutting the rest of it at an angle.
I think instead of straightening it you should consider SCRUNCHING, its absolutely my *favorite* thing to do with hair, also..it doesnt matter if you have long or short hair..it looks good no matter what! :)
Straighten your bangs if you have any, thats always cute ;)
Try asking your mom or someone to straighten them, cause it's hard to straighten the back of you head by yourself and maybe that's why it doesn't work.
Or use a curling iron to curl them inwards. It should balance out.
I recommend using a styling gel or hairspray.
let it grow out, scrunch it with gel, or deal with it
Chop it all off...... lol
