How can I look emo with short hair?

My hair almost reaches my eybrows in the front and reaches a little bit past my ears in the back and is naturally brown but (somehow) turns black when it is very wet.How can I look emo with short hair?

First of all... find out the whole ';Emo'; look is right for you. It doesn't look right on just anybody.

Actually, a lot of male ';Emos'; have short-length hair. First what you do is grow it out until the front reacher the tip of your nose, and the sides reach your cheekbone (your hair grows 1-2 inches a month, so do the math) then get a razor brush (or a hair-thinner), and quickly cut a bit around your ears. Now tilt your head to whichever direction you would flip your hair with, and then razor your bangs to desired length (keep at least one sider longer than the other, so it covers either your whole eye or part of it). For the back you can either leave it the way it is or cut to a length where you can easily spike it up with hair gell or hair spray. Keep in mind you don't have to dye your hair black or darker to have the ';Emo'; look, some prefer their natural hair color.

Also, all hair gets darker when it's wet, it's because it gets paired together easier xD
